Apple cake

Ingredients:

• 1 large apple
• 1 cup flour ½
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 envelopes yeast
• 4 eggs
• 1 tablespoon butter
• Lemon zest

 

How to make apple cake:

Mix the milk with the melted butter, add the egg yolks and sugar. Add the lemon zest. Mix the yeast with the flour and gradually incorporated into the mixture. Peel and chop the apple into small cubes, add to the dough.

  Separately, beat the egg whites until stiff. Gently incorporate the egg whites to the mix, not to lose the air.

  Preheat oven to 180 º. Greased and floured pan and bake the apple cake 30 minutes.

Quadrophenia

It is 1965, and London Mod Jimmy Cooper (Phil Daniels), disillusioned by his parents and a job as a post-room boy at an advertising firm, finds an outlet for his teenage angst with his Mod friends Dave (Mark Wingett), Chalky (Philip Davis) and Spider (Gary Shail). One of the Mods' rivals, the Rockers, is in fact Jimmy's childhood friend, Kevin (Ray Winstone). An assault by aggressive Rockers on Spider leads to a serious unprovoked attack on Kevin during which Jimmy does not help his friend and joins in on the assault.
A bank holiday weekend provides an excuse for the rivalry between the Mods and Rockers to come to a head, as they both descend upon the seaside town of Brighton. A series of running battles ensues. As the police close in on the rioters, Jimmy escapes down an alleyway with Steph (Leslie Ash) — a girl on whom he has a crush — to have sex. When the pair emerge, they find themselves in the middle of the melee just as police are detaining rioters. Jimmy is arrested, detained with a violent, leading Mod he calls 'Ace Face' (played by Sting), and later fined the then-large sum of £50. When fined £75, Ace Face mocks the magistrate to the amusement of fellow Mods.
Back in London, Jimmy becomes increasingly depressed. He is thrown out of his house by his mother, who finds his stash of amphetamine pills. He then quits his job, spends his severance package on more pills, and finds out that Steph has become the girlfriend of his friend Dave. After a brief fight with Dave, the following morning his rejection is confirmed by Steph and with his beloved Lambretta scooter accidentally destroyed, Jimmy takes a train back to Brighton. In an attempt to relive the recent excitement, he revisits the scenes of the riots and of his encounter with Steph, but then, to his horror, discovers that his idol, Ace Face, is in reality a lowly bellboy at a Brighton hotel. Jimmy steals Ace's scooter and heads out to Beachy Head, crashing the scooter over a cliff, which is where the film begins with Jimmy walking back from the cliff top in the sunset back drop.

The great dictator

The Great Dictator is a 1940 American comedy-drama film starring, written, produced, scored, and directed by Charlie Chaplin, following the tradition of many of his other films. Having been the only Hollywood filmmaker to continue to make silent films well into the period of sound films, this was Chaplin's first true talking picture as well as his most commercially successful film.
At the time of its first release, the United States was still formally at peace with Nazi Germany. Chaplin's film advanced a stirring, controversial condemnation of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini's fascism, antisemitism, and the Nazis, whom he mocks in the film as "machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts".
Chaplin's film followed only a few months after Hollywood's first parody of Hitler, the short subject You Nazty Spy! by the Three Stooges, although Chaplin had been planning it for years before. Hitler had been previously allegorically pilloried in the German film by Fritz Lang, The Testament of Dr.Mabuse. In his 1964 autobiography, Chaplin stated that he would not have made the film had he known about the actual horrors of the Nazi concentration camps.

Pride and prejudice

The

Bennet family consists of a couple and their five daughters, lives in the country in hopes of finding a husband for each.
Mrs. Bennet receives the news that a young bachelor, Mr. Charles Bingley has gone to spend some time in the field with his two sisters, and intends to marry one of his daughters with him.
Soon after, Bingley and his close friend, Fitzwilliam Darcy, attending a public dance in town.
Bingley, it is very nice. Dance with several young women, but from the beginning shows admiration for Jane Bennet, the eldest sister.
After the first dance Jane is invited to the house rented by Bingley, where sick, so Elizabeth Walk there to care. This provokes ridicule from Bingley's sisters, but arouses a certain admiration for Darcy, who can not stop staring. During the following days, talk much while she is caring for her sick sister, and almost always end up arguing, which upsets Elizabeth and Darcy causing the admire for his wit and vivacity, as well as his expressive eyes.
Mr. Collins, wants to marry a des premiums and proposes marriage to Elizabeth, but she flatly refuses.
Darcy asks Elizabeth a dance and she accepts. And eventually falls for her until she decides to confess. The girl blinded by pride and prejudice refuses, but when he reads a letter written by Darcy regrets rejecting him and just want to see him again.
Darcy manages to find Lydia and Wickham in London and induces Wickham to marry Lydia, paying your wedding and giving him money.
Finally Darcy proposes to Elizabeth for the second time and she accepts accepts. Shortly after the sisters Jane and Elizabeth marry Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy, respectively.

Dead poets society

The film is about the year in an American private school.
The main characters are Neil and Mr Keating . Neil is a good student who likes theatre but his father hate it.
Mr Keating is the literature teacher who was an old student at that school. He has an unordinary way of teaching and his students love him.
The boys formed a new poets society and they met in a cave. Moreover they play instruments, recite poetry.
Neil decided to act without his father's permition in a play but he went to see him.
Finally his parents told him that he should study architecture and Neil when his parents were sleeping decided cummit suiside.

Some like it hot

This history is about a couple of boys who are witnesses a murder produced by a band of gangsters.
They tried to escape but the gangsters followed them. Then they decided dress up as woman, after that they caught a train where a lot of musicians ladies were travelling.
Boys became Josephine and Daphne and became close friends of Sugar.
When they arrived at the hotel an old man fall in love with Daphne, this man was rich and he had a ship.
The guy who was pasing as Josephine, courted Sugar, and he take that the old captain was in love with her friend Daphne to use his boat.
Finally, the gangsters found the two witnesses that they want in the same hotel, but they got to escape with Sugar and the old man.
